Telephonist
Location: Finchley, North London
Type: Customer Service / Bookings
Join our front-line team as a telephonist and help provide excellent service to our Private Hire DRIVER Â and tour clients. You’ll take bookings, respond to queries, and be part of a friendly, tight-knit team working in our newly refurbished Finchley office
- Clear, professional telephone manner
- Good basic knowledge of North London geography
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Confidence using a PC (typing & email replies)
- Experience with Autocab is a bonus (training provided)
- Taking bookings via phone, in person, and email
- Answering customer enquiries clearly and professionally
- Assisting dispatchers and other team members
- Shift-based: typically 24–60 hours per week
- Working in teams of up to 5 per shift

Controller (Private Hire Drivers Dispatcher)
Location: Finchley, North London
Type: Dispatch / Control Room
As a controller at Abetta Cars, you’ll be overseeing the live assignment of bookings to our fleet of over 50 drivers, ensuring a smooth and efficient service around the clock. You’ll be responsible for maintaining workflow, managing ETAs, and handling priority jobs — especially airport transfers and executive bookings.
- Familiarity with the private hire industry preferred
- Strong understanding of London & UK geography
- Calm and confident in a fast-paced environment
- Able to make quick decisions with driver logistics
- Polished communication and clear voice under pressure
- Autocab experience is an advantage (training provided)
- Managing bookings and dispatching across a live system
- Liaising with 15+ night and 40+ day drivers
- Handling VIP and time-sensitive jobs professionally
- Taking direct calls and reassigning bookings when needed
- 36–60 hours per week, with flexibility required

Controller (Courier Dispatcher)
Location: Islington N1, North London
Type: Dispatch / Same-Day Courier Control
This is a dynamic, high-responsibility role dispatching urgent courier jobs across London and the UK. You’ll work closely with drivers and clients to ensure time-critical deliveries are completed on time — every time.
- Strong phone/email communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of London & UK roads/logistics
- Experience in same-day courier operations is ideal
- Meta Four experience is a bonus
- Fast decision-maker, comfortable under pressure
- Dispatching and reallocating jobs across our courier fleet
- Taking phone/email bookings and logging accurately
- Tracking high-priority and time-sensitive deliveries
- Working 50 hours per week (office-based only)
- Collaborating with a hands-on support team
